USRowing to select top eight scullers to race the World for the Lenny Peters Cup

HIGH POINT, NC - USRowing, the national governing body for rowing in the United States, will select 8 scullers to race the World for the Lenny Peters Cup in 2025. 

Racing will take place on Saturday, April 12 at Oak Hollow Lake's Festival Park in High Point as part of the annual North Carolina rowing Championships. 

USA Scullers are expected to be selected by USRowing's High Performance Coach Josy Verdonkschot based on results of the National Team's Winter Speed Orders, which take place on March 21-23 in Sarasota, Florida. 

Early favorites for selection include Sam Melvin and Maggie Fellows, who each won the Fall Speed Orders in West Windsor New Jersey in mid November.
